Education is the best tool for women empowernment. Educating a girl child is the first step for a better tomorrow. Learning is a continuous process giving a girl child every opportunity to strengthen herself. So, it is rightly believed that empowerment of a girl child is very important as it gives a positive impact on not only the family, but the community and also the nation.
Today when the present scenario of society is turning towards women safety and empowernment, students of HKIMSR performed as volunteers of CRY Foundation by contributing in spreading the message of Women Empowernment and girl child education by performing a street play. They presented the street play in Anand nagar slums of Jogeshwari (West) , in order to create an awareness among the people. Students of HKIMSR have took great efforts in organizing the street play for spreading this strong message to the society.
The story line of play was basically focused on women empowernment and girl child education. They encourage women to raise voice against the evil elements of the society through their play. Neglecting the evil elements would give support to create more crime in the society. They also portrayed the importance of women rights so that women can bring change in themselves.
